BiomEdit / Investors

Backed by leaders in agtech, life sciences, and sustainability

BiomEdit is pioneering Programmable Veterinary Biologics™, with investors and partners who understand what it takes to bring this category to market. Our first product, CPerf LLV*, is on track for commercial launch in Q4 2026, as we continue to advance new solutions across our multi-species pipeline.

“BiomEdit is creating a new category in animal health through Programmable Veterinary Biologics. Its differentiated platform brings together deep scientific expertise and the potential to change how the industry approaches disease prevention. We backed Aaron and the BiomEdit team early because they are building more than another product. They are creating an entirely new approach.”

1

First-of-its-kind Programmable Veterinary Biologic

CPerf LLV* is the first engineered microbial biologic for poultry ever to achieve USDA conditional licensure.

2

Our Platform

Our Programmable Veterinary Biologics platform combines strain engineering, computational biology, and a microbial strain library. We engineer beneficial bacteria to perform specific biological functions, as demonstrated by CPerf LLV*. With the acquisition of Folium Science, the platform also includes CRISPR-based Guided Biotics technology that selectively targets specific bacterial populations within the microbiome, as demonstrated by BiomElix® One, approved in Brazil.

3

Foundational Patents

We have patents that protect the core delivery mechanism and the nanobody sequences behind CPerf LLV* and other programs.

4

Capital Efficiency

We have raised over $7M in non-dilutive capital to support sustainability-focused work, including high-profile grant support from the Bezos Earth Fund and the Gates Foundation.

5

Programmable Architecture

We adapt the same strain engineering across payloads, targets, species, and disease areas, spanning poultry, swine, cattle, dogs, and cats, so each new product builds on proven ground instead of starting over.

6

Durable IP Across the Full Stack

We generate protected intellectual property (IP) with every product across strain, delivery mechanism, indication, and process, compounding the platform’s competitive advantage with each release.

7

A Results-Driven Team

Our executive team has over 200 years of combined experience, over 450 publications, and a track record of inventing dozens of commercial animal health innovations.

Industry recognition for what we deliver.
