About BiomEdit
BiomEdit is an animal health biotechnology company developing Programmable Veterinary Biologics™—beneficial bacteria engineered to perform specific biological functions in livestock and pets. Our platform also utilizes technology that selectively targets specific bacterial populations within the microbiome. We are applying these complementary approaches across infectious disease, chronic disease, and sustainability challenges.
Mission

Programmable Veterinary Biologics offer a new approach to animal health: engineering beneficial bacteria to deliver specific biological functions and selectively targeting bacteria already present in the microbiome. Both approaches are designed to address specific disease mechanisms while fitting within established animal health and production practices.

- USDA Conditional License issued for CPerf LLV* (BE-101).
August
- BiomEdit acquires Folium Science's technology platform and pipeline.
April
- Two foundational US patents granted, protecting CPerf LLV* (BE-101)'s core delivery mechanism and nanobody sequences.
October
- Bezos Earth Fund grant received (~$2M) for the Rumen Digital Twin.
July
- Series B closed, raising $18.4M.
May
- Diamond Animal Health chosen as process development and manufacturing partner for CPerf LLV* (BE-101).
February
